Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Saturday. Panguitch fell 3-1 to Sky View. Panguitch's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Jerzi Johnson paced Panguitch's offense, picking up 19 kills. Johnson got some help from Shylee Keele and her 21 assists. Brooke Albrecht controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Sky View found their leader in sophomore Brynn Spackman, who had 24 digs and one assist. Spackman has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more digs the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Camry Parker, who had 13 assists and nine digs.
Panguitch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Sky View, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
Coming up, Panguitch will challenge Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sky View, they will square off against Mountain Crest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
