Glenbard North came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Batavia Bulldogs with a sharp 8-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Tru Medina was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Gia Whelan, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Glenbard North's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Batavia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season.

Glenbard North will be playing at home against Wheaton North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Batavia, they will venture away from home to face off against Larkin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
