The Parkland Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Williamsport 56-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Parkland, who have now won nine contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Trey Tremba was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 79 receiving yards. Tremba's longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Spang, who threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.
Parkland's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.4 points per game. As for Williamsport, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Parkland will be playing at home against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Parkland is ranked ninth). Williamsport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
