The Los Altos Conquerors will take on the Alta Loma Braves at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Los Altos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Alta Loma's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Los Altos beat South Hills 4-1. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Kaylahni Duenas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.

At the plate, Brianah Alejandre was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Vargas, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Alta Loma made sure to put some runs up on the board against Colony on Wednesday. The Braves were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Titans.
Alta Loma also got a great performance from Donica Meyndert as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Isabella Galindo, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Ava Salazar was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Alta Loma kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Los Altos' victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Alta Loma, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Los Altos beat Alta Loma 6-2 in their previous meeting last Wednesday. Will the Conquerors repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
