Basketball Recap: Friendship Collegiate Academy Has No Trouble Against DC International

Friendship Collegiate Academy lost to DC International back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights strolled past the DC International Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 41-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Friendship Collegiate Academy found their leader in sophomore Jonae McKnight, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for McKnight. Another player making a difference was Miyazia Harris, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

The win got Friendship Collegiate Academy back to even at 2-2. As for DC International, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Friendship Collegiate Academy will square off against Warwick at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DC International, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Washington Latin Public Charter School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. DC International is facing Washington Latin Public Charter School at the right time seeing as Washington Latin Public Charter School is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
