Brigham Brown gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Valor Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-8 otherwise.

Brown's strong effort led Valor Christian over Chatfield and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
