Lucas Meyer Dazzles in Heights Defeat
Starting off the list is Heights's Lucas Meyer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Meyer rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Unfortunately for South, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Meyer. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Meyer saw the Titans), he rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Another Heights player making an appearance on this list is Darius Rogers. He rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
For the season, Rogers has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 56.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Big Game from Mason As Northwest Fell 38-17
Northwest had to settle for second on Friday, but Jaylen Mason sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Mason as he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 113 yards on five of 18 attempts.
Northwest's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-1. It'll be Northside v. Southside when their and South meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wayman Kidd Goes Supernova in West Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Wayman Kidd of West. Kidd made 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
West's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. It'll be Eastside v. Westside when their and Southeast meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
