Jones Came Up Big in Marion's 38-7 Win
Starting off the list is Marion's Timotheus Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win got Marion back to even at 4-4. Jones and Marion will venture away from home to face off against Anderson on Friday.

Antwoine Richmond was instrumental in extending Lafayette Jefferson's winning streak to eight on Friday. Richmond made eight total tackles and defended a pass, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.
Lafayette Jefferson pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Richmond and Lafayette Jefferson will venture away from home to square off against McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keyen Crowder Delivers Electric Effort Vs Harrison
Lafayette Jefferson picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keyen Crowder. Harrison had no answer to Crowder as he threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. Those 46 rushing yards gave Crowder a new career-high.
For the year, Crowder has thrown 28 touchdowns while averaging 247.8 passing yards per game.
