On Saturday, Churchill County was able to grind out a solid victory over Galena, taking the game 54-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Churchill County.
Churchill County was led to victory by Trevor Hyde and Brady Alves. Hyde scored 11 points, while Alves scored 15 points along with six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Calin Anderson, who scored six points along with three steals.
Churchill County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Galena, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.
Churchill County will head out on the road to challenge Elko at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Galena, they will be playing at home against McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
