Meanwhile, Ninilchik beat Cordova 33-20 on Saturday. 33 seems to be a good number for Ninilchik as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Birchwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ninilchik, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
Birchwood Christian strolled past Ninilchik when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a score of 55-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Birchwood Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
