Crowell's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win (which was Jackson's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. As for Ashford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Coming up, Jackson will square off against Handley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.7 points per game this season, so the Aggies' offense will have their work cut out for them. Ashford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
