The Sioux County Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 54-21 loss at the hands of Hemingford. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sioux County has scored all season.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was William Skavdahl, who scored six points along with five blocks and two steals. Skavdahl is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Shane Gluth, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Sioux County's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hemingford, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.
Sioux County will take on Hay Springs at TBD on Thursday. Hay Springs is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Hemingford, they will head out on the road to face off against Edgemont at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
