Baseball Recap: Chester's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The Chester Yellowjackets came up short against the St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots on Wednesday and fell 5-2.

Chester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Colvis, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Chester's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they pushed their record up to 23-16 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Chester has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Carlyle on the 15th. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against East Alton-Wood River on the 15th.
