The Rock Bridge Bruins will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the De Smet Jesuit Spartans. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rock Bridge had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Troy-Buchanan, posting a 38-7 win on the road. Rock Bridge might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 31 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, De Smet Jesuit didn't have too much breathing room in their match against St. Louis University on Friday, but they still walked away with a 19-13 victory. Given De Smet Jesuit's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while St. Louis University is ranked 33rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
