It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 70-40 on the road. Seven Rivers Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 22 points or more this season.
Seven Rivers Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zoey Houle led the charge by scoring 24 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Joy Sullivan, who scored 18 points along with five assists.
Seven Rivers Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Academy at the Lakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.
Seven Rivers Christian is on the road again on Friday and plays North Tampa Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Seven Rivers Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Wednesday. Academy at the Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
