While North Caroline put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for North Dorchester. The Bulldogs walked away with a 5-0 win over the Eagles. That looming 5-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

North Caroline got a great performance from Oliver Frankowski as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

At the plate, Owen Caraballo was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Necessary, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

North Caroline's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for North Dorchester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

North Caroline will square off against Kent Island at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Dorchester, they will challenge Kent County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
