Brevard extended their winning streak  to nine  on Friday, bumping them up to 9-0. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tuscola Mountaineers 36-3. Considering the Blue Devils have won seven contests by more than 22  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
Brevard got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ty Griffin out in front who picked up 122 receiving yards and one  touchdown.  Tristan Thompson-Wynn also helped with two scores in total.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Brevard, adding 12 points to the final score. All came from  Cristin Castillo: he went 4-for-4 kicking field goals for 12 points.
As for Tuscola, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record  this season.  Coming up, Brevard will face off against Pisgah at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Blue Devils will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups. As for Tuscola, they will challenge East Henderson at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Mountaineers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.56  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
