The Skyline Eagles will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the West Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Skyline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
Skyline's game was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 42-34 to Highland.
Despite the defeat, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: Mia Johnson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Chloe Quinn was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, West stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by East on the road to the tune of 83-30. While fans of West might be used to big wins, the 53-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Skyline has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Skyline ended up a good deal behind West when the teams last played back in January, losing 67-51. Will Skyline have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
