After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, San Jacinto Valley Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Temecula Prep Patriots. Considering the Wolves have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Avilika Arana made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
