The Hazen Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Enosburg Falls Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Enosburg Falls took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hazen, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Hazen was fully in charge, breezing past Williamstown 72-27 on the road. 72 seems to be a good number for Hazen as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Enosburg Falls' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were the victim of a rough 55-31 loss at the hands of Lake Region.
Hazen's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Enosburg Falls, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Everything went Hazen's way against Enosburg Falls when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as Hazen made off with a 88-64 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hazen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
