The Jefferson Patriots suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Kimball 66-24. Jefferson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-19.
Kimball can attribute much of their success to Rico Aguilar, who scored 13 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Aguilar has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lekendrick Taylor, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson and nudges their season record down to 1-12. As for Kimball, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.
Jefferson will head out on the road to take on White at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in White's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Jefferson has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Kimball will take on South Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
