Willis took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Cleveland. The win continues a trend for the Wildkats in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won nine in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Willis took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-13.

Willis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from OLIVIA KEO, who had four digs and two aces. KEO is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was MAGGIE MAJKSZAK, who had 11 assists and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Willis was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 8-4 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, College Park suffered their biggest defeat since September 2nd on Friday. They came up short against Grand Oaks, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
While College Park had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.
Willis' record now sits at 20-17. As for College Park, their loss dropped their record down to 24-10.
Willis might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from College Park when the teams last played back in September. Can the Wildkats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
