The Timber Creek Wolves will challenge the West Orange Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Timber Creek's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so West Orange's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Timber Creek barely beat Boone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Timber Creek never let Boone get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wolves have posted since April 30, 2024.

Hunter Wieckowski tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
On the hitting side, Elijah Buffaloe was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Johann Mercado was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, West Orange had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Titans. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.
Nicolas Caso looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brooklyn Hicks, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Martinez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Timber Creek's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for West Orange, their record now sits at 7-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Timber Creek has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like West Orange struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
