The biggest upset of the week belonged to Honeoye Falls-Lima, who took down 228th ranked Brighton, 23-7.
Eastridge extended the longest winning streak in Section 5 Monroe Division III this week by beating Victor, 35-20. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
5-foot-10 quarterback Alex Shoemaker of Irondequoit is the league leader in passing yards this season with 369. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, Eastridge's Alec Mortillaro has rushed for 655 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cash Bleier. The Victor star has nine catches for 142 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Barons take on the Blue Devils. Brighton is currently in fifth, while Victor is in second.
Chad Green's team was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating the Blue Devils. The Lancers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
