Volleyball Recap: Marmion Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Marmion won the last time they faced Chicago Mt. Carmel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cadets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Caravan.

While Marmion won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25.

Marmion's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Chicago Mt. Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marmion will take on rival Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chicago Mt. Carmel is set to square off against their familiar foe Montini Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
