Meanwhile, Russell County fell victim to South Warren and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Spartans. The Lakers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.
Russell County also got a good showing from Brody Terry, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
