Jaylan Johnson Dazzles in Biloxi Defeat
While Biloxi might've come up empty on Friday, Jaylan Johnson wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Johnson was still balling out as he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Biloxi: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
Johnson and Biloxi will face off against Harrison Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Rebels, probably because Johnson had a solid game then too: he rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
