The Potomac School Panthers will challenge the Maret Frogs at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Potomac School's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
On Saturday, Potomac School blew past Flint Hill, posting a 63-32 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won eight in a row.

Potomac School found their leader in freshman Nyla Curry, who shot 73% from the field to rack up 21 points. Those 73% shooting accuracy set a new season-high mark for Curry. The team also got some help courtesy of Sabrina Anderson, who went 6-for-13 on her way to 14 points.
Meanwhile, Maret didn't have too much trouble with St. Stephen's & St. Agnes on Friday as they won 57-39. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Frogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 12th in District of Columbia, while the Saints are ranked 344th in Virginia).
Maret's win came from a few key players that Potomac School will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Phoebe Lee, who shot 50% from the field en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. Sofia Reyes was another key player, putting up nine points along with six steals and five boards.
Maret was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2025.
Potomac School's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Maret, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Potomac School hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 59.8 points per game. It's a different story for Maret, though, as they've been averaging only 39.7 points. The only thing between Potomac School and another offensive beatdown is the Frogs. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Potomac School against Maret in their previous matchup on January 6th, as the team secured a 67-30 win. In that contest, the Panthers amassed a halftime lead of 50-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
