On Thursday, Calvary Chapel got the W thanks in part to Matthew Peters playing the best football he has all season. Peters' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Peters might just drop another big game when he faces off against Estancia on Friday. Peters rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and Estancia duked it out back in October of 2023.
