Baseball Recap: Forest Has No Trouble Against Raymond

Forest had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 4-6 to make it four. They blew past the Raymond Rangers 16-10. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won three matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Raymond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12. On the bright side, the ten- run performance marked their highest-scoring game to date.

For Raymond's part, Victor Jordan Jr. was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That double marked the first that Jordan Jr. has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ransom Johnson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Looking ahead, Forest will take on North Forrest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Raymond, they will face off against Terry at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 11.9 runs per game this season.
