District 10 Region 4 AA recap October 1, 2013
Northwestern extended the longest winning streak in District 10 Region 4 AA this week by beating Corry, 42-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Girard moved up to 272 from 314 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Yellowjackets climbed the ranks as a result of beating Harbor Creek 57-7.
Fairview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ben Kocan threw for 122 and 2 touchdowns and Joseph Martone had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Shannon Jackson chipped in 104 yards. Scott Klemm helped Fairview's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 48 yards.

The Beavers' Nathainel Smith and Liam Cragg led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 653 yards this season, while Cragg, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 15 catches for 305 yards. Jackson from Fairview leads the league in rushing with 932 yards.
The top two teams in District 10 Region 4 AA will face off this week when first place Northwestern takes on second place Fort LeBoeuf.
Jackson of the Jim Brinling's team is only 68 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 130 carries Jackson has put up 932 yards this year.

Harbor Creek fell to Girard 57-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
