Despite the loss, Salem had strong showings from Ethan Hickland, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Josh Harrington, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hickland scored 15 or more points.
Even though they lost, Salem smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Salem's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-13. As for Argyle, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
