The Franklin County Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Shenandoah Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Franklin County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
Franklin County posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Hagerstown 67-15 on the road. Given Franklin County's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Hagerstown is ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Franklin County can attribute much of their success to Madesyn Sunderhaus, who scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sunderhaus has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ruby Singer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Shenandoah can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cowan 53-25 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Shenandoah.
Franklin County's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Shenandoah, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
