Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scotus). They put the hurt on the Lakeview Vikings with a sharp 70-49 win on Tuesday. The Shamrocks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Lakeview's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brianna Line, who posted nine points. Kenzie Greisen was another key player, putting up seven points.

Scotus pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Lakeview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Scotus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeview, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-48 loss against Central City on the 13th.
