Alisal came tearing into  Wednesday's  game with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.1 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Smith  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, four  stolen bases,  and four  runs, while  Estrada  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Smith is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaz Rubio, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-1.
 Alisal's win was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the  matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 12.3 runs. As for Trinity Christian, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Alisal will head out on the road to  challenge  North Monterey County at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Trinity Christian, they will be playing at home against Greenfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Trinity Christian and Greenfield are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
