Anumele hasn't dropped below 20 points for six straight games. Crystal Schultz was another key contributor, going 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Fort Bend Bush, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-46 loss to the Knights on Friday.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Idia Orobor, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Danielle Okogwu, who scored ten points.
Fort Bend Austin's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-1. As for Fort Bend Bush, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.
