Jayden Barr Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Eastside's Jayden Barr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Barr made six total tackles and defended a pass. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass.

His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory (which was East Forsyth's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Szakacs and East Forsyth will head out on the road to take on Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Sadly, Bailey Benson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Eastside over North Oconee on Friday. Benson wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 11 total tackles. The game was his third straight with eight or more total tackles dating back to last season.
For the year, Benson has averaged 6.2 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one sack.
