The Potts Camp Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a rough 78-52 defeat at the hands of New Site. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Potts Camp in their matchups with New Site: they've now lost four in a row.
Brooklyn Hodum was her usual excellent self, scoring 43 points along with eight steals and five assists for New Site. The game was Hodum's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chloe Chism, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 11 assists, and 11 steals.
Potts Camp's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for New Site, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potts Camp will be home for the holidays to greet Houlka at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
