The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ellwood Christian, who took down 349th ranked Autaugaville, 26-12.
Billingsley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fifth in 1A Region 3. The Bears beat Sunshine 38-14 earlier in the week.
Billingsley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Thomas Nichols has thrown for 299 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Trevor Tyus has two catches for 102 yards. Terrance Nolen leads the league in rushing with 129 yards.
Maplesville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Akron, 51-14. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
