This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Riley Lormand and Jonah Petitt. Lormand rushed for 203 yards and three scores on only 14 carries while Petitt rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Acadiana Christian will head out to take on First Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Paul the Great Academy, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
