Mandan put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Sheyenne Mustangs with a sharp 79-55 win. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Mandan pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sheyenne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mandan will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Minot at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Sheyenne also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Horace at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Horace knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Sheyenne likes a good challenge.
