The Batavia Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Glenbard North Panthers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Batavia took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-7 victory over Glenbard North. The result was nothing new for Batavia, who have now won five matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Ryan Boe got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 360 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Luke Alwin was another key contributor, picking up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Batavia's win was their seventh straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points per game. As for Glenbard North, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Batavia will be playing at home against Brother Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Brother Rice is ranked 13th, while Batavia is ranked 12th). Glenbard North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
