Lanier Christian Academy won the last time they faced Scholars Guild Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning took their match with ease, bagging an 82-55 win over the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans. The Lightning have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 25 points or more this season.

Lanier Christian Academy was led to victory by Mekhi Barber and Andrew Batusic. Barber went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points and eight boards, while Batusic almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Those 18 points gave Batusic a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Barber, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Lanier Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scholars Guild Academy only racked up nine assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Lanier Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 16-4. As for Scholars Guild Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
