The Parish Episcopal Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Nolan Catholic Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parish Episcopal is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.
15 must be Parish Episcopal's lucky number: they beat Trinity Christian with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Panthers beat the Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Olivia Waterhouse ?28 made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game.
In other batting news, Adelia DeFriend ?28 was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Phoenix Jordan ?29, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Parish Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Nolan Catholic came up short against Liberty Christian on Friday, falling 22-4. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Jaden Padilla was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
Nolan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Parish Episcopal, their record is now 8-1.
Nolan Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Parish Episcopal has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Nolan Catholic, though, as they've been averaging 10.5 hits. Given Parish Episcopal's sizable advantage in that area, the Vikings will need to find a way to close that gap.
Parish Episcopal came out on top in a nail-biter against Nolan Catholic in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
