The Texas Christian Tigers will be playing at home against the Houston HomeSchool Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Texas Christian's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Houston HomeSchool has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
In what's become a running theme this season, Texas Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-38 victory over The Connection School of Houston at home. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 18 more assists than your opponent, as Texas Christian did.
Texas Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jean Hirwa, who scored 20 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Houston HomeSchool pushed their score all the way to 66 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Varsity Opponent 70-66.
Texas Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Houston HomeSchool, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
