Jermaine Bartlett was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with seven rebounds and three steals for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech. That makes it five consecutive games in which Bartlett has scored at least 25% of Hammond Academy of Science & Tech's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Ridle, who scored eight points along with four blocks.
Granger Christian's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granger Christian will square off against Trinity at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
