 Derek Ramirez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  zero  hits allowed gave  him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Federico Serna was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. He has become a key player for Hebbronville: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 6-7-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Uriel Chanona, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Hebbronville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 4.3  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.8.
 Hebbronville's record now sits at 10-7-1. As for Idea Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
