Baseball Recap: Narraguagus Wins Going Away Against Jonesport-Beals

While Narraguagus put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Jonesport-Beals. The Knights were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Royals. Considering the Knights have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryder Fenton was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Manny Absalom, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Narraguagus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in six consecutive games.

Narraguagus' win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Jonesport-Beals, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Narraguagus will venture away from home to face off against Sumner at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jonesport-Beals, they will welcome Machias at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
