The McKinley Bulldogs will challenge the Fairless Falcons at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
McKinley fell victim to GlenOak and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They came up short against  the Golden Eagles, falling  10-0. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Fairless was able to grind out a solid  victory over Tuscarawas Valley on Thursday, taking the game  9-6. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by  exactly three  runs.
 Fairless let  Tyler Gaal and  Hunter Dean run wild. Gaal  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run, while  Dean  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Dean a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lucas Peters, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Fairless has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for McKinley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
