The Flat Rock Rams can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Airport. With Flat Rock ahead 39-19 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Flat Rock's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addi Kopp, who scored 13 points along with eight assists and three steals. It was the first time this season that Kopp posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Madleen Hussein, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals.
Flat Rock is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Airport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flat Rock will take on the Falcons/Kestrels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary Catholic Central presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rams in Michigan (the Falcons/Kestrels are ranked 68th, while the Rams are ranked 208th). As for Airport, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Big Reds at 7:00 p.m.
